one heckava pause eh

Pin It Now!

Boy, oh boy has it been a while seen I have posted....In between the last post and this one...

I have lost my voice and my grandfather to Leukemia....Who was indeed one sweet man that after 55 years of marriage to a wife that was diagnosed with Alzheimer's, was still madly in love... the story of the Notebook is so scarily similar to theirs its unreal.

*************************************************************

I have also caught up on a few films:

1)Julie and Julia

which, I must say was a pleasant surprise...As much as I talk about wanted to cook and make beautiful food...I honestly don't have time or energy (yet)
Hope I will be inspired once the Hun lands. :o)

2. Paper Heart

This completely fed my Micheal Cera secret crush fix...
not sure what it is...
And Charlyne Yi is pretty awesome herself
Do check it out if you have a moment with nothing to do + a sofa + ice cream and the need to find out about love.

3) Stormy Weather

This one has been in my Netflix queue for far too long without having been viewed, and since then Lena Horne has passed away. I haven't seen any of her movies, until yesterday.
And let me tell you, what a grand experience it was.
It confirmed that i was truly born in the wrong era.
Only if clubs now-a-days consisted of big band and tap dancers.
Maybe I'd long for it more...hmmm
Definitely view this...maybe on a stormy night.

A bientot on mon petit oiseau
