Hey Beauts! 

I hope you all have had a fantastic week. 

This is my way of sending you all a smile, since I am refusing all selfie 

shots on IG for a bit... trust me, I'm doing you a huge favor.

Me, well, I have been asleep for the majority of it. 

Sick with whatever my mini cough onto me. 

(but I won't blame the gal, she knows no better while sneezing half asleep at 3am)

Today, I pried myself out of bed, threw myself into the shower and landed 

on the sofa. Remember people: Progress is a slow process. 

 Another process that is taking a while to develop: 

figuring out what I am going to do with my days.

Yup I am still ticking strong with (r-ki-tekt)

but, figuring out my own schedule can be overwhelming difficult, and glorious all 

at once. 

I am taking some much needed advice, but I have been doing way too 

much "figuring out" and not enough doing. 

Do you freelancers/work-at-homers/figuring-it-out-ers have that dilemma too?

(please tell me I'm not the only one!!!)

Any whoooo, I fully intend to start organizing myself

into a real indie/freelancers state of mind. 

As soon as I can take these crazy unattractive tissue nose

plugs out of my nostrils.

ahhhh the weekend....

Today all the ladies in my family will be surprising my aunt

with a girls night (sleepover) with all the grandgirls in tow. 

(4 minis, me & my 2 cousins & my mother, who is her sister)

We will have sweets and pizza and time for gabbing about husbands. 

I'm pretty pumped, because I seriously love my family. 

Anywho... I know the photo above has nothing to do with a sleepover, 

but more so to do with the crispness that I would love my 

future home to have.  The lighting in my house sucks right now. 

so when I take photos, I have to go through a crazy editing process that kind

of sucks the fun out of doing original posts. 

Just thinking about things I would love to add to make 

this a great hub for you all...

 And I love the pant hangers being used. Reminds of of Oh Joy's blog. 

Well I hope you all have a fantastic weekend. 

give yourself a late night mani, sip a little red, and scarf down 

a bag of twizzlers or dove squares. 

What ever you do, just enjoy it.

YOUNG BLOOD

Hope you all are having a good night thus far.

Le Hub and I are just chillin watching movies with 

a glass(es) of vino, chips and salsa,

because you know.....that goes perfect together.

As for the rest of the day, I spent some much needed time reflecting

on life, future projects and ventures. I also spent the entire day with my 

mama! Since being married I haven't had much time to hang with her. 

We stopped at a great little cafe/restaurant in Virginia Highlands and just sat 

and ate and enjoyed the much needed time out of the office in the glorious sunlight.

We also popped into Young Blood Gallery.

It has been a while since I have visited.  

And since we live in North Atlanta & far 

from the city I don't get to inhale the magic often. 

But when I do get a chance, 

boy does it sit comfortably in my soul.

this is the first weekend in a very long time where i don't have

to devote every waking minute to shellacking

something in glitter for the wedding.

(not that it's a terribly have-to-do)

I am free to go to my mini's Gymnastics class 

(2024 Olympics is our goal)

and the park for family time. 

Maybe I'll be able to squeeze in some treasure hunting at my 
thrift mines. 

or maybe I will sit my katookis down and enjoy the peace.

the direction of where i am going has been
muddy lately so I

Joy recommended Craft Inc.
(and she is usually right about a lot)
to guide the semi-newbies to the business world on how to make those crafting hands gold.
So i figure i can gift myself some guidance for this holiday season,
as opposed to just a new pair of shoes.
Although the lesson may hurt a little more than pumps, it'll definitely be
worth it in the end

For the wedding that is...
Remember I changed it to June 2012 for sanity's sake.
Now i have a little bit more time to "play" and breath for that matter.
I can't believe that last week would have been the wedding day.
Instead, we celebrated the hubs birthday (as it should always be...no one should have to share their day...lesson learned)
We went to a matinee and lunch then went to a mini gospel concert in the evening.
AAAAANND
We got to sleep in
(Grandma aka Yaya invited the mini for a sleepover---
thank God for Grandma's i tell ya!)
