Alright ladies! I'm back with another easy headwrap tutorial using 

(r-ki-tekt)'s Reign Wrap. You guys seemed to have enjoyed 

the previous one so I figured let's keep it going with 

the Boho Bow.

So... I'm not sure if you know, but I'm a designer. 

Not just a designer, but a lazy gal that loves looking her best. 

I know that last part is a bit of an oxymoron, but it is such a thing. 

Because of this fluke, I decided to create pieces that do a lot of the 

zshush work for me. 

(here is where I introduce the Reign Wraps) 

Quite a few of you have expressed that you loooove them, but are 

too intimidated and confused to actually wear one. 

I figured the best way to calm your wrap whoa's is to give you a 

step-by-step (ah remember that show!!!) 

of how to rock it.

This year has been amazing already and we are only in March.

ICE ATLANTA HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR -- RECAP

 There is nothing more exciting, nerve wracking, or tasty than a 

blank canvas begging to be adorned...

What I have here is a folding wall.

Once upon a time, it was a plain plywood.

I picked this up for 5 bucks at a garage sale in my old neighborhood over 10 years ago. 

It served as my back drop for posters of singers and morphed into my inspiration wall

full of design clippings. It even went to school with me.

Well this past year it has served a new purpose. My backdrop for craft shows. 

During the Summer show it was painted white and had product hanging from it. 

Well, that proved to be slightly dry for my taste and somewhat useless and inaccessible for 

those visiting the booth. So I told my husband that should we decide to do the Holiday show, 

we will definitely have to jazz it up a bit. 

And that is exactly what we did.

Things are moving along. 

I am 34 weeks aka I only have a projected 6 more weeks of this 

tiny person incubation process left. 

(insert freaked out, slightly panicked face)

I say projected because I am hoping that he stays in until 

after we are finished 

completing all of the things that are on the long list 

of things to do. 

Like cleaning and show prep.

What's going on this month: 

I did a swag drop for The Brand Market Workshop that went down 

this past weekend in Atlanta. The attendees (now officially color kittens) 

were given CMYK necklaces. 

(r-ki-tekt) is going to be featured along side other indie awesomeness in the

ICE Atlanta Pop-Up Shop from Nov 15th-Dec 30th. 

There you'll be able to find a handful of 

lovelies that were already featured in the shop and a little something new for

your colorful holiday shopping fix.

And of course there is the Holiday Spectacular for ICE Atlanta. 

I have been keeping my head down and focusing intensely 

on bringing freshness while sticking true to the DNA of (r-ki-tekt).

We learned a bunch from the Summer show and are hoping to continue to grow

and gain knowledge and experience in the indie world. 

 We are just so excited to be amongst some awesome and passionate

designers in this city. 

To follow the journey and get a sneak peek of some newbies that

What else is happening:

Entertaining maven and Photo stylist Annette Joseph 

is hosting a book signing 

at West Elm Atlanta (Atlantic Station) from 7-8pm 

If you are interested photo styling or making the 

world a little bit more lovely, I have a feeling you'll want to be there. 

Being preggars means you may shed a few extra tears every 
now and again. If you're in need of a good happy-cry session over 
your platter of oreo's and peanut butter, 
check out this father's reaction.

My nail strength is finally coming back after a whack 
gel manicure job that left them brittle and peeling. 
So I am gearing back up for the holiday mani season and 
pinning some digit magic.

So remember how I told you guys that I was completing and working on a project for BlogShop?

If you follow me you already know what it was, but if you are 

new to ATD you might not have heard. 

BlogShop is an amazing 2-day bloggers workshop taught by 

Angela Kohler of Angela & Ithyle & Bri Emery of Designlovefest.

 

During the workshop bloggers are taught the "secrets" to creating their blog persona through Photoshop. I haven't taken the course myself, but it is definitely on my bucket list. The ladies are photographic and graphic design genius' and they're sprinkling their pixie dust across the land (or our screens) and turning what people would consider a hobby into gold---literally.

If you are so lucky to attend their classes, you'd receive a goodie bag. 
These are usually filled with tons of awesome products that pop with color, wit, and 
overall great design.  I reached out and they welcomed. 

I offered the Royal Flush Bobbi Pins in an assortment of colors. 

Bri also wore the Briela TasselTail Necklace to class for a little pop of fun.  Groovy huh?

Super thankful for the opportunity. Hopefully the beginning of more magic to come. 

By the way, if you are curious as to whats coming to shop, here's a little hint....shhhhh. be vewy vewy quiet!
